Tenali Rama review: 5 things we loved about this historic comedy

SAB TV launched a new comedy show Tenali Rama, based on the legendary tales of Tenali Rama, that we all have grown up listening to.

Tenali was known for his wit in the court of emperor Krishnadevaraya. The show has Krishna Bharadwaj as Tenali Rama, Manav Gohil plays the role of Krishandevraya and veteran actor Pankaj Berry plays the role of Thathacharya.

The show premiered on Tuesday and here are five things that we like about this new SAB TV show.

The introduction

The show started with a background on Raja Krishnadevraya and the situation of India in the 15th century in a very interesting way. They showed it through animation with each character as chapters of a book.
